Decaf with award

Great Taste Award for our Decaf

Judged by the experts, our Decaf is awarded a Great Taste 1-star in world’s most coveted food and drink awards.

14,195 products were put through the competition’s rigorous blind judging process; and our Decaf was dubbed a “refreshing and satisfying” at the world’s most coveted food and drink awards. 4,088 products were awarded a Great Taste 1-star – ‘food and drink that delivers fantastic flavour’, 1,568 were awarded a Great Taste 2-star and 248 were awarded a Great Taste 3-star.

The Decaf was a big hit with the judges, here's what they had to say Chocolate and nuts on the nose with a touch of raisin. The nuttiness gives way to a light flavour of stone fruit on the palate with a hint of floral tea. There is still a distinct coffee-ness about it, though. It would be hard not to like this - it's not complex but it's refreshing and satisfying and, perhaps best of all, you don't miss the caffeine at all.” Adding to the amazing feedback we received last year for our Brazil.

Only 41.6% of the total products entered received an award.

We are thrilled to have won a Great Taste award again, this time for our Decaf. We believe in our coffee and Coffee Flamingo and it makes us so proud to be adding the prestigious black and gold Great Taste badge of honour to our another product.

Being recognised with a Great Taste means so much to independent producers such as us, as it makes all the hard work and determination worth it!

What is Great Taste?

Recognised as a stamp of excellence and actively sought out by food lovers and retailers alike, Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, values taste above all else. All products in the line-up for judging are blind tasted: every product is removed from its packaging so it cannot be identified, before entering a robust, layered judging process.

This year, judging took place over 89 days in Dorset and London, with a panel of more than 500 judges putting the products to the test. The line-up saw food and drink products submitted from an extraordinary 109 different countries across the world.

The full list of this year’s winners and where to buy them can be found at www.greattasteawards.co.uk and a wide range of the award-winning products are available to buy in delis, farm shops and independent retailers across the country.
